My Story

At the age of 20 I joined the U.S. Army. While in Basic Training at Ft Knox, KY; Iraq invaded Kuwait and I was deployed to the Middle East and served in Operation Desert Shield/Storm. 10 years later, The World Trade Center and Pentagon was attacked, and I deployed again. Only this time, I was cross leveled to a unit located in Ft Totten, NY and reclassified into a new MOS. Upon arriving at the new unit, I was chosen to perform the role of 2nd squad leader. During pre-deployment operations in Ft McCoy, WI; the unit was unexpectedly tasked with assembling a Special Operations Team that would break off from the main unit to perform “secret combat missions” throughout Iraq. I was chosen as the leader of this team and carefully selected my team members. We performed several successful missions during our 18-month deployment and were based in Ramadi, 70 miles west of Baghdad. I was promoted to the rank of Sergeant First Class and received several awards with the highest being the Bronze Star Medal. After serving for 24 years, it was time to retire, and I used my GI Bill to enroll in auto-reconditioning school and headed off to Southern California to complete the yearlong training. Automobiles have always been a passion of mine, and my attention to detail makes this the perfect job. I’m married to an amazing woman who has always supported and believed in my dreams. We have two amazing children that we love dearly. My daughter lives in Tampa, FL and works in the Sports Marketing and Management Field. My son who also has a passion for automobiles recently moved here from Buffalo, NY to join the PRO DTL team. On Sunday's we attend Mountain Ridge Church in Glendale and do our best to give back to the community. Thank you for taking the time to read my short biography.
